Throughout the year, auctions are held each Tuesday, where consignments from numerous owners are sold to our expanding buying audiences. Air conditioned for year-round comfort, the auctions room is a well-lit, spacious facility designed for the advantageous display of auction property. Furniture is arranged on elevated platforms; small items are displayed on counters. Glass, porcelains, china, silver, jewelry and other small or fragile items are displayed in lighted & locked cases where they may be easily viewed, but not damaged by excessive handling.

 

Antique

This special auction are held periodically with dates and times to be determined. These auctions offer a broad range of period and country furniture, and antique decorative accessories which are culled from our sorting tables. These auctions comprise properties of various local Estates and individuals.

 

Catalog Auctions

In addition to regularly scheduled auctions, Conestoga Auction holds special and cataloged auctions for individual Estates and collections. This includes a spring and fall cataloged sale which accommodates individuals with smaller collections or even one or two items, which are better represented through a special sale. These auctions, as well as the antique auctions are extensively advertised through national publications and our specialized mailing lists.

 

Firearms & Militaria

Conestoga Auction has a State and Federal firearms license allowing the sale of modern and antique firearms, edged weapons and military related accoutrements. These items cover pre-Revolution to present day. Over the years, we have set many record prices in this field.

 

Indian Relics

Indian relic auctions are held periodically and include art, stone relics, pottery, beadwork and textiles.

 

Coins

Periodic coin sales including Gold, Silver, Large cents, Currency, etc.

 

On Location

The same experience & personnel are available to the sellers for a auction on their property. From start to finish Conestoga Auction can provide auction set-up, auction previews, execution of absentee bids and auction selling expertise. Advertising, tailored to the auction, adds to the success of our popular on-location auctions. In addition, we can also provide portable display cases, display tables, auction tents and food service.

 

Real Estate

All Real Estate auctions are held on the premises to be sold. Many times these auctions can be combined with the auction of the household furnishings, providing a single day dispersal for Estates and Individuals.
